Efforts to Improve Science Learning Outcomes with The Field Trip Learning Method in Class Four

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa yang belum cukup baik pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV MI Wasilatul Huda Surabaya Udik. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa kurang memahami materi yang diajarkan, siswa kurang tertarik untuk belajar, dan siswa kurang mampu mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar melalui metode Field Trip pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV MI Wasilatul Huda Surabaya Udik Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Pada materi mengamati siklus makhluk hidup. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus setiap siklus dilakukan 2 pertemuan. Subjek sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, tes dan dokumentasi serta teknik analisis menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 50% kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II meningkat mencapai 80% telah tuntas dengan rata-rata kelas sebesar 85,5. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode field Field Trip dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV MI Wasilatul Huda Surabaya Udik Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023.
